Bloom Psychology & Yoga Therapy
Bloom EMDR Intensives ARe Now Available
Do you feel that the traditional way of therapy doesn’t meet your needs? Perhaps it’s due to:
- You require support now and don't want to wait for months in the standard Psychology & EMDR therapy approach to feel better.
- You're committed to change, yet a lot of your therapy time is spent addressing concerns or crises that arise between sessions (which feel important at the moment but aren't supporting long-term improvement). This distracts from the treatment goal and delays progress.
- Your timetable doesn't align well with the typical therapy schedule. It's difficult to find and maintain the time required to prioritise therapy for months on end.
- You are currently working regularly with another therapist but need more focused, adjunct intervention.

Details of Our Program
We provide a range of treatment programs tailored to individual needs. Our Standard program equates to around 11 sessions in the typical fortnightly therapy format, which would take about 5 months (or more) to finish.
This intensive method allows us to move through the 8 phases of EMDR therapy and address the core of an issue. It’s a deliberate and efficient use of time, energy, and focus. Research supports its ability to enhance wellbeing*.

Bloom Psychology & Yoga Therapy
Hi, I’m Sarah. I’m a clinical psychologist, EMDR therapist, as well as a certified yoga teacher and yoga therapist. With over 20 years of experience in psychology, I’ve worked in various settings with diverse clients and psychological conditions. I’m a full member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and The EMDR Association of Australia (EMDRAA).
I focus my practice around EMDR (eye movement desensitisation and reprocessing) therapy, after witnessing its positive effects on many of my clients. I’ve also pursued advanced training in various psychological methods, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness, and neuropsychological-based therapies, which complement my EMDR work. Currently, I exclusively practise EMDR Intensive therapy to prioritise addressing the underlying issues of your mental health, without the usual distractions of day-to-day life.
I am dedicated to providing tools, techniques, and insights to help individuals navigate psychological difficulties and to support them in finding greater peace and wellbeing.
