Bloom EMDR Intensives ARe Now Available
Are you dissatisfied with the traditional format of therapy? Perhaps because:
- You are needing help right now and you don't want to spend months in the traditional model of Psychology & EMDR therapy to feel better
- You are motivated for change but spending a lot of therapy time talking about the concerns / crises that arise between sessions (which seem important in the short term, but not helping in the long term). This shifts focus away from the treatment objective and ultimately slows progress
- Your schedule is a poor fit for the therapy schedule. i.e., its hard to create and keep the time needed to prioritise therapy over a period of months
- You are currently working regularly with another therapist but need more focused, adjunct intervention
Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR)
A MORE INTENSIVE APPROACH TO THERAPY MIGHT BE FOR YOU.
The traditional model of therapy does not serve everyone. That’s why we are excited to announce Bloom EMDR Intensive Therapy treatment programs. These therapeutic programs involve, after a month of extensive client preparation, scheduling long sessions ( 2 hours) close together (3 per week).
Our tailored programs tackle concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship concerns. To ensure consistent support, clients also receive resources throughout their journey—before, during, and after their intensive therapy experience.
We also deliver standard EMDR therapy for individuals throughout South Australia. For those unable to attend in person, we provide tailored Online Psychology Services.
EMDR Therapy & Psychology in ADelaide, SA
OUR PROGRAM
We offer several treatment programs to meet individual needs. Our Standard treatment program is the equivalent to approximately 11 sessions in the traditional fortnightly format of therapy which would take approximately 5 months (or more) to complete.
In this intensive approach we have an opportunity to work through the 8 phases of EMDR therapy and target the root of an issue. This approach is intentional and efficient in terms of time, energy and progress. Research also supports that it is effective in improving wellbeing*.

- May be beneficial in the treatment of a range of psychological symptoms including depression, anxiety, OCD and addiction.
- Are efficient - they may lead to symptom reduction within a much shorter time.
- Offer a much shorter treatment period and are therefore more suited to meet the constraints of a busy schedule.
