EMDR Intensive Therapy Chiton
Looking for a more rapid approach to psychology and EMDR therapy?

Bloom Psychology & Yoga Therapy
Bloom EMDR Intensives ARe Now Available
Are you unhappy with the usual method of therapy? It could be because:
- You require support now and don't want to wait for months in the standard Psychology & EMDR therapy approach to feel better.
- You are driven to make changes, but much of your therapy time is focused on crises or concerns that emerge between sessions (which seem significant in the short term but aren't aiding long-term progress). This diverts attention from the treatment objective and hinders progress.
- Your schedule is a poor fit for the therapy schedule. i.e., it's hard to create and keep the time needed to prioritise therapy over a period of months.
- You're currently in regular therapy with someone else but feel the need for more concentrated, supplementary intervention.

An Intensive Therapy Approach Could Be Right for You
The conventional way of therapy isn’t a good fit for everyone. That’s why we’re pleased to bring Bloom EMDR Intensive Therapy treatment programs to our clients. These programs feature a month of detailed client preparation followed by extended sessions (2 hours) spaced close together (3 per week).
We deliver both standard and intensive EMDR therapy for individuals in Chiton and throughout South Australia. For those unable to attend in person, we provide tailored Online Psychology Services.

Details of Our Program
We offer several treatment programs to meet individual needs. Our Standard treatment program is the equivalent to approximately 11 sessions in the traditional fortnightly format of therapy which would take approximately 5 months (or more) to complete.
With this intensive strategy, we can work through the 8 phases of EMDR therapy and directly address the underlying issue. This method is purposeful and efficient in terms of time, effort, and progress. Research supports its ability to improve wellbeing*.

Bloom Psychology & Yoga Therapy
Hi, I’m Sarah. I’m a clinical psychologist and EMDR therapist, also a certified yoga teacher and yoga therapist. I bring over 20 years of experience in psychology, having worked with numerous clients, in different settings, and across various psychological conditions. I’m a full member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and The EMDR Association of Australia (EMDRAA).
My practice centres on EMDR (eye movement desensitisation and reprocessing) therapy, having seen the positive results it provided for many of my clients. I’ve also completed advanced training in several psychological approaches, such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness, and neuropsychological therapies, which I integrate alongside the EMDR process. I now work solely with EMDR Intensive therapy to ensure we can focus fully on addressing the root causes of your mental health concerns, with fewer distractions from everyday life.
I am passionate about sharing tools, techniques and concepts to help people work through psychological challenges and to support them in feeling better and more at peace in their lives.
