Interested in a quicker form of psychology and EMDR therapy?

Bloom Psychology & Yoga Therapy
Bloom EMDR Intensives ARe Now Available
Are you dissatisfied with the traditional format of therapy? Perhaps because:
- You are needing help right now and you don't want to spend months in the traditional model of Psychology & EMDR therapy to feel better.
- You're committed to change, yet a lot of your therapy time is spent addressing concerns or crises that arise between sessions (which feel important at the moment but aren't supporting long-term improvement). This distracts from the treatment goal and delays progress.
- Your timetable doesn't align well with the typical therapy schedule. It's difficult to find and maintain the time required to prioritise therapy for months on end.
- You are working with another therapist on a regular basis but need a more focused, complementary approach.

A Focused, Intensive Therapy Approach Could Suit You
The conventional way of therapy isn’t a good fit for everyone. That’s why we’re pleased to bring Bloom EMDR Intensive Therapy treatment programs to our clients. These programs feature a month of detailed client preparation followed by extended sessions (2 hours) spaced close together (3 per week).
We deliver both standard and intensive EMDR therapy for individuals in Malvern and throughout South Australia. For those unable to attend in person, we provide tailored Online Psychology Services.

Details of Our Program
We offer multiple treatment options to suit individual needs. The Standard program is comparable to roughly 11 sessions in the traditional therapy model, usually spread over 5 months or more.
This focused approach allows us to follow the 8 phases of EMDR therapy and target the root cause of the problem. It’s designed to be efficient with time, energy, and progress. Research also indicates that it improves wellbeing*.

Bloom Psychology & Yoga Therapy
Hi, I’m Sarah. I’m a clinical psychologist, EMDR therapist, as well as a certified yoga teacher and yoga therapist. With over 20 years of experience in psychology, I’ve worked in various settings with diverse clients and psychological conditions. I’m a full member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and The EMDR Association of Australia (EMDRAA).
My practice is built around EMDR (eye movement desensitisation and reprocessing) therapy, after recognising the positive impact it has had on many of my clients. In addition, I have completed advanced training in psychological techniques such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness, and neuropsychological-based therapies, which enhance my EMDR approach. I now focus solely on EMDR Intensive therapy, allowing us to concentrate on the core issues of your mental health, without the interference of daily life’s fluctuations.
I am passionate about sharing tools, techniques and concepts to help people work through psychological challenges and to support them in feeling better and more at peace in their lives.
