Additional Resources

The resources in this pack are designed to support you during your intensive treatment sessions. Please go at your own pace and do not persist with any movement that causes you discomfort. If you have any injuries or chronic health conditions, please consult your qualified health practitioner before starting the practice.

Please keep your movements within the range that feels good in your body. These yoga practices are designed for nervous system regulation, not fitness. There is no need to extend your body beyond what feels good. Please feel free to skip movements and add support (e.g., wall support, blankets, cushions, etc.) as required. All of the practices can be done in a chair if you’d prefer. If you have any questions regarding the suitability of these practices for you, please email me at strainor@bloompyt.com.au.

Yoga to Energize is designed to help you build energy and confidence ahead of your intensive session. Yoga to Ground and Settle is designed to support your nervous system in settling and restoring following the session. Finally, the Sleep Aid Practice is designed to set you up for a restorative night’s sleep.

The key objectives for each practice are:

  • Move mindfully
  • Connect the breath with your movement
  • Maintain an attitude of curiosity
  • Be kind to yourself
